I spent today sightseeing Paris by foot, and by the end of the day, I was beaten. The sights were very much worth the pain though.

Well, the time has come again, I’m off for part 2 of my travels. I woke up early and packed the remaining bits before the time came for mum and dad to take me down to the ferry port.

From 20th August to 7th September
Its fair to say I had already decided that this wasn’t the end of my trip, and I knew I still had so much more to see. My previous trip hadn’t quite gone according to plan, although it was a great experience, but I needed to go back and finish it off. So this is exactly what I decided to do.

I took the ferry home to Portsmouth today, from Le Havre. It was great to be back home, with proper food, water, my great family and my amazingly comfortable bed.

With the main part of the journey home completed, all that was left was the ferry home to Portsmouth. By now I was looking forward to being home.

The decision was made to end the trip for now, as I didn’t have my bank card, so I had to begin the long journey back home.

My journey today took me to Marseille along some beautiful coastline roads, and stunning scenery, but my stay in Marseille was not a good one…

Today was full of frustration, from the small, one-way streets of Carcassonne to the useless information place in Montpellier. Not my finest day.

My first stop was La Cite in Carcassonne, the castle that influenced that used in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.

I took a drive to most of the remaining towns and places in Andorra, including Arinsal, caldea Spa, Canillo, Encamp, Les Bons, Pal, Prats, Sispony and Valnord.
