Another sleepless night, I guess this is just the norm. I can always catch up on sleep when I get back anyway. I had a full day ahead of me today and was a day that I was looking forward to in many ways.
Today was a mixed bag. It was a feast of sights, and a mini roller coaster of emotions. It started as every day did, with me getting out of bed and showering. Breakfast was nice, bread or rolls with cheese, ham, or ...

Monday 21st September 2009 – Germany
As the same people making all the noise from the previous evening woke up, around 5:30 to 6am, I couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed. Should I tell them to shut up? I certainly wanted to. There was obviously no sleep had by poor little me this night, but I had a feeling today was going to be a good day.

Saturday 12th September 2009 – Germany
Today began with me waking up, which was a first for this trip I think, as usually I’m already awake, having not slept at all. I had a great night in my double room all to myself, no noise, and plenty of rest. I slept from 10pm until 8am on and off, and it was a well needed rest. I needed to get up now though.
Needless to say I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning, but I had to drag myself out to ...

Friday 11th September 2009 – Germany
I had breakfast with Alex this morning and we left the hostel together to go to the main square again. We both wanted to get souvenirs before leaving. So we did.
Afterwards, we went our separate ways as I made a bee line for the train station. Cool guy Alex, and will definitely keep in touch.
