Thursday 24th February – Noosa, Australia
I have to admit that I really relished having a second pillow last night. It is so nice to sleep in a comfortable bed with air conditioning filtering through the room. Don’t get me wrong, I love slumming it with the rest, but it is nice to have a little bit of luxury every now and then. The spoils didn’t stop there either, as a whole host of freebies awaited me in this hostel.

Bali is the top vacation destination in Indonesia. With a unique culture and wonderful tropical climate, Bali deserves its almost legendary status as a haven of beauty and gentle living, astonishing beaches and unique style and cuisine.

Wednesday 23rd February – Noosa, Australia
It’s often evident on my travels that I don’t spend nearly enough time in any one place to form an educated or accurate opinion of anywhere, and I wanted Australia to be different. I wanted to live in each place I went, learning about the local ways and traditions, testing the water for any future possibility in settling in such a place. I guess culture isn’t really evident here in OZ, and it certainly doesn’t take long to adjust to each new town or city, …

Tuesday 22nd February – Brisbane, Australia
Having spent a large part of yesterday playing cat and mouse to the weather, I had hoped for a more settled day to enable me to complete my tour of Brisbane City. I wasn’t entirely sure how much there was left to see, but if the weather was dry enough for most of the day, I could easily fit everything in.
