A somewhat frustrating day materialised today as I had the unfortunate task of getting my car Registration done and the Warrant of Fitness, similar to a Tax and M.O.T in the UK. It was – on the other hand – a pretty good day aside from this.
Stewart Island was today’s adventure, and I had to be up early to catch the ferry across the water. I had high hopes for today as the pictures I have seen of this island look fantastic. I just wondered if now was not the best time of year to go. We will see.
Day 56 of my New Zealand adventure and already I am at the southern point of the South Island. A trip that was suppose to take about 1 year to complete, is now taking just a few months, yet I still feel I have achieved so much and crammed so much in. Today I arrived at Invercargill.
I had a very busy day planned today, and a very long drive also. I didn’t realise at the time, though, just how busy it would turn out to be. I was hoping for a great drive to Milford Sound nonetheless.
Another day dawned and a new adventure was about to begin. There was the small matter of a certain person to deal with first though. For this reason I had to be up early, but this wasn’t much of a problem.
Today I was travelling to one of the most talked about places in New Zealand, and probably one of the most popular places. I was off to Queenstown, but first I would pay a visit to Puzzling World in Wanaka, for a bit of fun.
