Enjoying a Holiday in London with Theatre Breaks

28 August 2012 One Comment

Holiday in London is an amazing experience. A place of history and modern excitement, London offers a wide variety of activities to keep even the most active of minds busy. This world renowned city offers numerous attractions for the native, as well as the out of town travelling tourist. Visitors to London can experience the Tate Modern, British Museum, the EDF, or the ever famous Madame Tussauds. Yet, no trip to this wonderful city is complete until you have experienced the London Theatre!

London has a rich history of theatre because when it comes to theatre the people of London know what they are doing. Plus, the memory of walking up to the Box Office and acquiring your ticket for your first show is a memorable experience, especially if it is one of the top Broadway shows or critically acclaimed epics for the stage.

Experience Shakespeare on your trip to London! The West End never disappoints when presenting a local celebrity despite their faded glory numerous years ago. Bill still gets top bill at many venues. Happening centre stage is currently playing some of the greats like Julius Caesar, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and many more. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is also playing out in the open air setting as well for a much more romantic setting.

The London theatre box office understands that variety is the spice of life! On the stage you can experience The Count of Monte Cristo, Mousetrap, Our Boys, and Chariots of Fire. Chariots of Fire is a stage adaption of the famous film brought to you in time for the Olympics. If you missed out on the amazing ceremonies and events of the London Olympics then experience it on through the greatness of London’s stage.

Really, you should stop by the box office twice because everyone needs a bit of Broadway in their lives too. The sights and sounds of Broadway cover the spectrum from engaging entertainment for adults as well as stunning visuals with wonderful songs for children and family. Ice Age Live, Dora the Explorer through Cabaret, Grease, and Phantom of the Opera are just a few of the many shows!

Go experience theatre!
