My time in Newcastle was rapidly coming to an end, and I had to spend the day sorting out my next moves as well as enjoying what time I had left here. I love Newcastle, and I know I will be coming back here before my time in Australia was over. It’s nice to have been here in the summer months, but now I was heading north.

It was a usual night of not much sleep, largely because of the heat, but now with the inclusion of a snoring guy on the bed beneath me. He thrashed about all night in his sleep, rocking my top bunk bed back and forth. No matter how many times I attempted to wake him, he always returned to the thrashing and snoring.
