After spending much of the day walking around Auckland city yesterday, I have managed to destroy my legs. They are extremely achy today, therefore the plan was to spend the day relaxing a bit, maybe do a bit of shopping.

Thursday 8th October 2009 – France
Today was the first day in Nice, and the chance for me to relax and take in the sights before I travelled home again, so I wasn’t about to waste any time.

Friday 2nd October 2009 – Venice
Well, to start with it was probably the best night sleep I have had all trip. The mattress was worn in the middle so you couldn’t help but slip into the centre, and the noise from outside was a lot to bear, but there was no noise from anyone in the dorm like I thought there would be, so I was very pleased, and slept all night through. Being extremely tired also helped.

Thursday 24th September 2009 – Austria
It always amazes me the way some people can get into bed at 2am, and still get up at 5:30am. It always seems to be the way in hostels. Those who go to bed later, get up earlier. In the case of one guy last night, this was exactly what happened. He wasn’t quiet about it either, and made sure he yawned as loud as he could as many times as he could.

Finally I have caught up with my video uploads now. From now on I will continue to upload my diary, with video added to the posts as and when. All videos will also be added to the video section for archiving.
