Monday 10th August 2009 – Spain
Well, here we go again, the waiting game recommences. I had a call early on this morning from FedEx themselves, from England, telling me the card was in transit. He seemed amused about the situation, and the fact that the campsite was taking care of me, but assured me he was on the case today, and wasn’t going to let anything go wrong again. We’ll see.

Sunday 9th August 2009 – Spain
The thunder and lightning raged for a long while, eventually letting up at around midnight. For some strange reason, my alarm had set itself for midnight, and as I awoke, startled by the unexpected ringing in my ears, the rain had all but stopped. Sunday 2nd August 2009 – Spain
Loud music, laughing and shouting from a nearby tent kept me awake until 6am, and at 7am, the talking began again as people started to wake up, so one hour sleep for me. It was doubly great as I had a long day ahead of me, and I was already shattered from the lack of sleep from many previous days. But I guess this is all part of travelling, and at least I was having a good time and seeing many things along the way. …

Saturday 1st August 2009 – Spain
I’m into August now, three weeks into travelling, and I’m still getting strange looks from everyone. Maybe its the fact that an English person has driven here in the first place, maybe they don’t see many English cars, I don’t know. Anyway, today I was off to Madrid in search of a place to stay so I could receive my card, but it had to be a cheap place as money was running low.
