Saturday 8th August 2009 – Spain
My phone has been playing up the past couple of days, and important texts that people are sending me, are not arriving on my phone. One such text was from dad, detailing the Western Union money transfer that was sent last night. I had no idea about the text until this morning when I managed to contact home. But all details were now in my possession, and I was now able to get a bit of money.

Monday 3rd August 2009 – Spain
I had a much better night sleep last night, partly because I was drained, although it was still very warm. Most nights I end up sleeping on my sleeping bag, rarely do I sleep inside it. Never, yet, have I slept in it for the whole night. There is a bad smell that wafts over the campsite from time to time, coming from the fruit factory next to us. When it gets in the tent, it takes a while to go. Not particularly nice.

Tuesday 28th July 2009 – Portugal
Had a terrible night. The campsite is next to a motorway, and they decided to start digging it up and working on it at 12:00 midnight. The work went on until 5:00am, so didn’t get much sleep at all. I wondered whether that was a bad omen for the day ahead, i hoped not.
