From 20th August to 7th September – Home

Its fair to say I had already decided that this wasn’t the end of my trip, and I knew I still had so much more to see. My previous trip hadn’t quite gone according to plan, although it was a great experience, but I needed to go back and finish it off. So this is exactly what I decided to do.

My idea was just as I had previously thought, to go backpacking round the rest of Europe, or at least a big part of it. So I had to start planning all over again, and I was getting excited already. I thought I would use trains to get about, and stay in the main cities of all the countries. At least this way I could get a feel for the place. I could always come back at a later point if I wanted to.

I stumbled through the loft looking for my back pack, and other bits and pieces that I would need, then began to pack. I didn’t want to take much with me this time, and it all looked very manageable, and I could lift the bag without too many problems. It might build me up a bit anyway.

I had spent a few weeks at home, but I was now ready to embark on stage 2 of the journey. I was all set and raring to go. This time it would be much better, I could feel it.
